Responsibilities:

 

Sales & Customer Service

  • Generates sales through merchandising, up-selling, ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained.
  • Provides superior customer service by providing staff with selling, service and product knowledge skills.
  • Deals with any customer service issues that may arise and resolves promptly.
  • Ensures stores KPIs are met with regards to sales.
  • Continually assesses store’s performance and provides feedback to Management.
  • Clearly and concisely communicates company and store objectives to staff.

Merchandise

  • Provides a high standard of visual merchandising by ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed,
  • Ensures wanted merchandise is available.
  • Ensures that shrinkage is kept under control.
  • Liaise with Head Office regarding the supply of stock, to maximise sales potential.

Leadership - Store Manager:

  • Ensures that staff KPIs are monitored and the necessary corrective action taken if KPIs are not being met.
  • Monitors ongoing performance needs and training.
  • Creates a positive environment that results in staff retention.
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity, company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

 

  • Matric
  • At least 2 years' managerial experience
  • At least 5 years' experience in a sales position
  • At least 5 years' experience in a customer service-driven role
  • Clean criminal record
  • Clean credit record

MILLWRIGHT [TRADE TESTED]

Our client is recruiting a qualified Millwright or Mechanical Technician for their manufacturing plant in Blackheath, Cape Town

 

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, diagnose and perform trade related maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery according to the maintenance requirements.
  • Perform inspections in accordance with the relevent regulations, manufacturing and Company standards.
  • Report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery.
  • Develop, modify, construct and install related equipment required for the safe operation of all engineering equipment.
  • Identify spares requirements and order according to departmental procedure.
  • Communicate with clients and supervisors to inform on maintenance activities performed and re-start of equipment.
  • Inspect, test and repair MCC, circuites and wiring systems and electrical equipment
  • Used, installed and applied fault finding on programmable logical control circuits (PLC's)
  • Create and maintain job cards.
  • Work overtime, standby and be available for call-outs when required.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Millwright or Mechanical Technician (Trade tested)
  • At least two years experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience with industrial machinery

Our Client, based in Cape Town, is looking for a quality assurance officer to join their team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining and revision of all quality and food safety documentation to ensure goals and objectives are met.
  • Required to conduct Production Floor inspections throughout the day, assist and collaborate effectively with production department staff relating to food safety, quality, operational efficiencies, and overall optimization process.
  • Assist with FSSC internal audits and supplier quality audits (where required).
  • Assist with employee GMP, HACCP, and FSSC food safety training.
  • Assist with investigating (return of goods) non conformances, root cause analysis, and with development and implementation of corrective actions as required.
  • Assist FS Dept with periodic facility inspections, personnel hygiene inspections, Glass & Hard plastic checks, cleaning and sanitation inspections, to ensure compliance with Food Safety standards.
  • Assist the Food Safety Quality Supervisor with all initiatives as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Food Safety Quality Control/Assurance Certification, Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 4 years experience in a similar role.
  • FSCC/HACCP or BRC working knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Work as part of the national HR team (reporting into Head of HR) to shape the overall HR strategy and business plan, challenging and supporting their local talent management agendas and building their talent management expertise.
  • Talent acquisition – working with Group Head of People in attracting talent, managing the experience of candidates to employment including on-boarding, vacancy/ screening/ interviews/ talent database.
  • Performance Management – able to link performance with talent profile and development path.
